NYCx Co-Labs Housing Rights Challenge Application Deadline

The NYC Mayor’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer, the New York City Economic Development Corporation, The NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development, and the NYC Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants are pleased to present a webinar on the upcoming NYCx Co-Labs Housing Rights Challenge, a challenge which seeks to test creative, tech-enabled solutions that help answer the following question:

How might we support the provision of more strategic, targeted, and tailored information to tenants about their housing rights, enabling them to take action in Inwood and Washington Heights, NYC?

The NYCx Co-Labs: Housing Rights Challenge is part of the inclusive innovation efforts of the City of New York to connect the NYC tech ecosystem, government agencies, local communities, and global innovators to address the housing rights of our most vulnerable communities, especially in light of the unique challenges and disparate impacts posed by COVID-19.

Challenge winners get the opportunity to pilot in NYC, $20K in prize money to support pilot implementation, direct partnership with NYC agencies, and the chance to grow their industry network.
